Still on Advanced Fee Fraud: A Visitor's comment on 419 (Posted 21st Feb,  2001) Tell your friends about this page! Email it to them.

The time has come to move our country forward and forget the past, educate the mis-educated, take back to school those who do not know that to build a nation requires the effort of the citizens themselves. Today Nigeria is rated as one of the most corrupt nations on earth. Are we really corrupt? Should we buy this or reject it? It is a dent on the image of many of us who are very hardworking and will do anything for that nation despite the negativity.

As part of the effort of my organization to help in rebuilding our nation, we have put in place a reporting mechanism on http://www.africaservice.com/fraud/ for victims of 419 worldwide. It is alarming the number of letters that are sent out of Nigeria everyday in this respect and many of the letters are returned to us. Some of the telephone numbers on top of the letters are actually Nigerian telephone numbers and you can get someone to talk with when the person is convinced that you are ready to give your account number. If we should do this and so easily we can get to the culprit, what is Nigerian police doing to put the influx into Europe, America, Norway, Australia, Japan and others of Nigeria scam letters.

We are ready to offer our expertise assistance to the Nigerian police in the area of cyber crime. Nigeria should be a better place, for everyone. We can do it, we have the resources.
